This is a cool little taco stop place within the Standard Grocery complex (outside access). I ordered a Brisket Burrito and was pleasantly surprised at the mix of meat and veggies and then also the sauce options and pickled options in a separate area. The burrito was very tasty and I added Mango Habanero sauce to it and it was amazing! It was otherwise a quick in-and-out. The atmosphere is ok, nothing outstanding, and so acceptable, so I gave it a four star.
I order takeout fairly often. I am a huge fan of the quesadillas but everything on the menu is fresh and tastes great — tacos, burrito you name it. The people are very kind and the food is ready fast (both in person and DoorDash). If you pick it up, they offer a wide variety of tasty salsas, too!
Burritos were delicious. My wife got the veggie and I got the steak. Salsa bar had lots of good options too. Will definitely be back.
The flavors were great! The tacos were a good portion. size. I tried the shrimp and porkbelly.
This is a tasty place. I had two chicken and veggie tacos that were very good. The cilantro rice was good too. I also liked the salsa bar that had several types of sauces. So you can pick and choose how much heat you want. The prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly too.
I was very impressed with the torta I ordered! The bollio roll it was served on was toasted nicely, with a fair amount of steak filling. The beans, crema, and avocado topping were well-proportioned, really adding to the flavor. I've had bad tortas, and this was not one of them. The side order of chips and salsa is very generous. Left me with plenty to take home. I am looking forward to returning and trying other items on the menu.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Loved the salsa bar, which had so many options to choose from. Margaritas were also delicious
Wow, I forgot we had a nice little taco place next door to Standard Market in westmont, and it was good. Met there with a group of people to enjoy a quesadilla and 2 small tacos to discuss our journeys for the eclipse. Pleasantly surprised by not only the food but the salsa bar which provides many flavors and levels of heat. The staff was pleasant and the serocxe was good. A good place to add to you last-minute dinner choices when you're not sure what to what that night.
